5 eggs separated
1 cup white sugar
5 tbsp boiling water
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites, set aside. Beat egg yolks and sugar
Add boiling water. Quickly add flour, salt, and baking powder.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour onto wax paper lined jelly roll pan
Bake at 450º for 12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
Dump onto damp towel. Spread on jam
Roll up. Cool. Slice as needed.
Marvin says recipe not as good as the one his Mother made but close 🌝
