3 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 cups softened butter
1 TBSP baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter, baking powder,flour, baking soda and vanilla. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often ,until well mixed. (3-4 minutes) Stir in coconut. Divide the dough into thirds and shape into rolls. Wrap each roll in wax paper a freeze until quite solid.
Heat oven to 350 º , cut rolls into 1/4 inch slices. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-14 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Cool slightly and remove.
