1/2 cup butter
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1 cup fresh mushroom if desired
3/4 cup flour
6 cups chicken broth
2 cups cooked wild rice
2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp dried parsley
3 TBSP Sherry if desired
2 cups of cream (1/2 & 1/2)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in stock pot, sauce veggies 5 minutes add mushrooms and cook 2 minutes. Add flour stirring and add broth. Bring just to a boil then lower heat and simmer. Add the rest of the ingredients except the 1/2 & 1/2, heat thru. Now add the 1/2 & 1/2 and simmer on low 1-2 hours ...Don't boil!
