1 medium onion
1 1.2 sticks butter
salt and pepper

Directions:
Spray bottom and sides of 8 x 8 or 9 x 13 dish. Peel and cut potatoes length wise as you would for french fries. Place in pan. Pan can be as full as you want. Slice onion and spread out over potatoes. Slice the butter and place around. Last, salt and pepper. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 450º for about an hour.
