1 c. butter, softened
1 c. confectioner's sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp rum extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt
colored sugar

Directions:
Directions:
IN small bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and extract. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Using a cookie press fitted with the disk of your choice, press cookies 1 in. apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with colored sugar.

Bake at 375 6-9 minutes or lightly browned. cool for 2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
