1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 Tbsp vanilla
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
chocolate chips, nuts, etc.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs. Stir in vanilla. Sift together and stir in flour soda, salt. Blend in remaining ingredients. Bake on greased pan, 10 minutes in 375 oven.

Frost

Heat 2 Tbsp butter until golden brown. Beat in until smooth, 2 c. sifted powdered sugar and 1/4 c. evaporated milk.
