1 c. butter (can use 1/2 margarine)
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
With wooden spoon, cream softened butter and sugar and salt. Add flour and I mix with my hand well. Make into 2 6 inch log rolls. Cut into 1/4-1/2" slices and bake at 300 on ungreased cookie sheet.

They can be placed close together. Prick with fork and bake 40-50 minutes depending on the thickness you cut them.

I double this recipe.
