2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs unbeaten
1 3/4 c flour
1/2 c chopped walnuts
2 tsp baking powder
1 c ripe smashed bananas
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 c sugar
1/3 c softened butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x5x3 loaf pan.
Sift together flour, baking powder and soda, salt. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs for 3 minutes. Add nuts, bananas and flour. Beat together one minute till smooth. Turn batter into pan.
Bake for 1 hour or until done. Let cool completely before serving
