1 tbls butter
1 cup long grain rice (Uncle Ben's)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1 small tart apple (peeled and diced)
1-2 tbls raisins or craisins
11/2 cups chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Saute rice, onion, garlic, apple and raisins in a saucepan over medium heat. Saute for 3-4 minutes. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover & simmer for 16-18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
