1 T unsalted butter
2 T finely grated ginger
16 oz cranberries (fresh or frozen)
2/3 c sugar
1 c fresh orange juice
1/2 c apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan, adding ginger and cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and preserves. And cook until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 20 minutes. Transfer to bowl and serve warm. May be made 2-3 days in advance, cover and refrigerate. Reheat before serving.
