1 lb flour
2 lbs almonds (skin peeled off)
1 1/2 lbs sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
4-5 cloves, minced
warm water, as needed

For the glaze:
1 cup water
1 lb sugar
1/2 cup dark cocoa powder

Directions:
Directions:
Start by toasting the peeled almonds in the oven at 325 for about 15 minutes or til golden. Remove and slightly crush with a rolling pin. In a large bowl mix almonds, flour, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and water as needed to make a compact dough. prepare walnut sized balls and place on a greased cookie sheet, slightly pressing down. Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes. Remove and cool.

In the meantime, prepare your chocolate glaze in a saucepan on medium heat; sugar, water, and cocoa til you have a dense syrup, stirring constantly. Dip each cookie in this mixture and allow to dry before enjoying.
