4 cups old-fashioned oatmeal (not instant)
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup dried raisins or cranberries
1/2 cup walnut pieces, toasted

Directions:

On a parchment-lined rimmed cookie sheet, place the 4 cups of oatmeal; set aside. In a small saucepan, add brown sugar, maple syrup, honey, butter, salt and spices. Constantly stirring, heat the mixture until bubbly. Carefully pour over the oatmeal; mixing until it is thoroughly coated. Place in a preheated 300º oven and bake for 15 minutes. Stir then continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes; adding the dried fruits and nuts during the last 5 minutes. Let cool; stirring occasionally.
