1 onion
1 can anchovy
1 small can tomato paste & 3 cans of water (use tomato paste can)
1 tsp sugar (can use 1 pack sweet & low)
1 can Cuoco seasoning for macaroni with sardines (yellow can)
1# pasta / small cuts work best

Directions:
Directions:
In sauce pan, saute diced onions in oil until golden. Add anchovies and cook until dissolved. Add tomato paste and 3 cans of water. Let simmer for 30 minutes. Add Cuoco seasoning mix, sugar and stir. Let simmer on low heat.
In pasta pan, cook pasta in salted water. Drain pasta and spoon sauce over top.
Serve with Parmesan or Romano Cheese.
