3 tbsp. BUTTER
1 bag miniature marshmallows (Jet-puffed, no cheap ones)
6-7 c Rice Krispies Cereal

Microwave version

Microwave 3 tbsp. butter in large bowl about 45 seconds until melted

Add bag of miniature marshmallows stir to coat with butter

Microwave about 1 1/2 minutes. Stop when marshmallows are puffed up and melting. Will still have some shape a little. As you stir them, they will finish melting and become smooth.

Add cereal and mix. Do not over stir, toughens them.

Grease bottom of 9x13 pan with butter. Grease spatula with butter

Pour mixture into pan and press down with buttered spatula

Cool and cut into squares

Never use margarine
Can melt on stove, stir frequently, not on high, marshmallow will turn brown
remove from stove once melted and add cereal
