1 qt Tomato juice
1 ox very thinly sliced onion
2 ox butter
1 1/2 oz flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
3/4 ox sugar
1 qt cold milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat juice & onions to boil & continue cooking for 10 minutes
Remove the onion
Melt butter & add the flour whisk until no lumps
Add the flour mixture to the juice & cook until it thickens
Add salt,pepper & sugar & remove from heat
Whisk in milk & heat but DO NOT BOIL!
