CHEESE FRENCHIE:
6 slices white bread
6 slices American cheese
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
Kellogg's Corn Flake crumbs
Mayonnaise
Oil for deep fat frying

TUNA FRENCHIE:
6 slices white bread
6 slices American cheese
2 cans tuna (prefer the solid white albacore)....but I don't think that is the
original choice
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp salt
Kelloggs Corn Flake crumbs
Mayonnaise
Oil for deep fat frying

CHEESE FRENCHIE:
Spread mayo on all slices of bread, make three sandwiches with 2 slices of
cheese per sandwich. Cut sandwiches on the diagonal into triangles. Combine egg, milk, flour and salt. Dip the sandwiches into egg mixture, and coat with corn flake crumbs. Fry in deep fat at 375º til golden.

TUNA FRENCHIE:
Drain tuna, add desired mayo, celery, pickles, etc. Spread mayo on all slices of bread, make three sandwiches splitting tuna mix(dont' overload), and add cheese (if desired). Combine egg, milk, flour and salt. Dip the sandwiches into egg mixture, and coat with corn flake crumbs. Fry in deep fat at 375º til golden.

These are long sought after recipes from Roger and I and all of our high school friends. There was a restaurant call Kings in Omaha. After all of our high school games we would all congregate there and chow down on these great sammies.
