1/2 lb. butter
5 T. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 T. water
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pecans or almonds, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and then add the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and water. Once mixed, add in the flour, salt and chopped nuts. Shape into crescents and cook at 325º F. for approximately 15 minutes or less.

Not only do I love this cookie, but I love that Sandy and Mom/Kathy's versions differ. In the early days of our "cookie-baking day" tradition, the two would get into a bit of a friendly-turf war over the recipe. Sandy - any fixes to the above?
