1 cup of butter
4 cups of powder sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2-3 tbsp.. heavy cream or half and half cream

Directions:

1. Beat butter with electric mixter until completely smooth (30 seconds to a minute)
2. One cup at time, add 2 cups of powdered sugar, beating after each addition.
3. Add Vanilla*
4.Add about 1 tbsp of cream and continue beating
5.Add the remaining 2 cups of powdered sugar, one at a time.
Note: Add an additional 1-2 tbsp. of cream until desired consistency.

This is just a base recipe. On step number 3 you may add an almost unlimited number of flavoring options in addition to, or instead of the vanilla. Try adding Lemon Zest, Cocoa powder, Coconut extract or any other flavor you may want to try!
