4 c. fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite size pieces
5 large red potatoes peeled & diced bite sized (more or less - same amount as beans)
1 16 oz. container sour cream
2 cartons of 32 oz. chicken stock
1 medium onion diced
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot combine the chicken stock, green beans and potatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Cook on medium heat until vegetables are soft.

Take the soup off the heat, let cool about 20 min. and slowly add the sour cream, stirring constantly until dissolved.

Zuprushka:
Brown the onions in the butter then add paprika. Pour this over the soup and gently stir in.

Mom would say "don't put in too much paprika or it will look too orange" .
