3 quarts thinly sliced cucumbers
1 large or medium white onion , sliced thin
2 tablespoons salt.
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Place cucumbers, onion and salt in large bowl; cover with water. Let stand in refrigerator 2 hours. Drain. Rinse to remove salt.

Mix together sugar, white vinegar, & celery seed & stir until sugar is dissolved. DO NOT HEAT! Pour over pickles; mix well. Put into containers and freeze. Thaw to serve.

I haven't made these, but when Mom (Grandma Unruh) served these I couldn't get enough. Oh-h-h so good! I keep thinking I'm going to make some.....definitely this year!
