2 Cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 TBSP sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cream of tarter
1/2 Cup Crisco
2/3 Cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Blend dry ingredients. Add shortening and blend with a pastry blender until it looks like course crumbles. Add milk all at once. Stir until the dough follows the fork around the bowl. Kneed 8-10 times. Can keep this in the bowl, just add a little flour.

Roll dough to 1/2" to 1" thick. Place on undressed cookie sheet close together, but not touching. Bake 450º for 15 minutes.
