¾ cp butter
1 cp brown sugar
½ cp sugar
1 egg
¼ cp water
2 tsp vanilla

1 cp flour
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp nutmeg

2 cps oats
1 pkg milk chocolate chips (craisins are also good in these)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend the butter and sugars together with a potato masher or fork. Stir in the egg, water and vanilla.

Add the flour, salt, baking soda and spices and stir till well blended. Add the oats and stir just till they’re mixed thru. Add the chocolate chips and stir just till they're evenly distributed.

Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-11 min, cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.

Cookie tips – If your cookies are turning out real flat and crispy you need to add a bit more flour to the dough. Try stirring in another ¼ cp. If your cookies are to thick and dry you’ve got to much flour in the dough. Try stirring in ¼ cp of milk.
