1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup hot water
walnuts may be added if desired

1. Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl before stirring.
2. Beat until the batter is smooth
