1 tbsp. cooking oil
1/3 lb. sausage
1/4 c. regular flour
1 1/3 c. water (or mixture of milk and water)
salt
pepper

(All measurements are approximate)

Directions:
Directions:
Place oil in large skillet and brown sausage, crumbling with spatula as it browns. Push sausage to side of skillet and allow grease to run to other side. Add flour to make a roux. (If necessary, you may add a little more oil). Add liquid, bring to a boil and salt and pepper to taste. Serve over bread, toast or biscuits
