1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 over-ripe bananas
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sour milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and bananas. Sift dry ingredients; add along with milk, lemon juice and nuts. Use large greased loaf pan or 2 medium pans. Bake in preheated 350º oven for 1 hour. Check doneness with toothpick after 45 minutes.
