butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Soak Lutefisk in plain water for an hour. Then drain it well. Preheat oven to 400º. Put lutefisk in a roaster with a rack in the bottom, salt it and don't put any water in the pan. It will steam in its own juices. Cover pan with foil and put a lid on. Put in oven and leave it 20 minutes before you look at it. If you can put a fork through it, it's done.

Turn oven to broil, drizzle with melted butter and place lutefisk under broiler for several minutes.
