1 (16 oz) package coleslaw mix
8 green onions, chopped
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 cup butter
2 (3 oz) packages chicken flavored ramen noodles
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tsp soy sauce

In large bowl toss together vegetables. Set aside.
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-low heat. Crumble noodles into a bowl, mix in almonds and sunflower seeds. Sprinkle the seasoning packets over all. Add to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until noodles and nuts are toasted; about 8 minutes.
BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BURN.
In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, and soy sauce. Seal and shake vigorously to blend.
Combine vegetables with toasted noodles and nuts. Pour dressing over all and stir to coat.

Instructions say to serve immediately, but I really think it is better if it sits 30-60 minutes before serving.
