Ingredients:
1 lb. diced bacon, browned and drained
3/4 cup maple syrup or brown sugar, packed
2 large (tall) cans pork and beans
2 T minced onion
2 T mustard
1/2 cup catsup

Directions:
Drain juices from beans and reserve. Mix all together and bake in a 325º oven for 3 hours uncovered. If beans seem dry, add a little of the reserved liquid. I often use a blend of Campbell's, Spartan and Bush's Pork and Beans. Drain more thoroughly if maple syrup is used.
