3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix separately:
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a cookie sheet. Stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Beat butter for 30 seconds. Add 2 cups of sugar, beat until fluffy. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well blended. Form into 1 inch balls (I use a small ice cream scooper). Roll the ball into the sugar & cinnamon mixture, then I flatten the ball with the bottom of a glass cup.
Bake at 375 for about 8 minutes. Makes about 50.
