1/2 C. firmly packed brown sugar, divided
1/3 C. sliced almonds
1/4 C. flour
3 tbsp. cold butter
1 pkg. (15oz.) refrigerated pie crusts
1 1/2 lb. apples, cored and chopped
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
whipped cream

Stir 6 tbsp. brown sugar, almonds and flour in a bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until it is coarse crumbs; refrigerate until ready to use. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray muffin cups with a nonstick cooking spray. Roll each pie crust into 13" circle on floured surface. Make two 10 1;2" square crusts. Cut each crust into 9 square pieces. Press each piece into muffin cups and set aside. Combine apples and remaining brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl. Spoon 1/4 C. apple mixture into each crust-lined muffin tin. Bake 20 minutes. Top each crust with crumble mixture of brown sugar and almonds. Bake 8-10 min. more or until crumble browns. Cool in pan 5 minutes, remove cups from muffin tin. Top each with whipped cream or reddit-wip.
