Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Crust
2 cups pecans
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
4 Tbls unsalted butter
2 Tbls sugar
1/2 tsp salt

brown pecans and oats in oven on baking sheet for 10-12 min 350
Put all ingredients into a food processor until finely ground
Press into big pie dish
Put in the freezer for 15 min
Bake for 20-25 min on 350

Pie
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup pumpkin --puree not mix
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, ginger
pinch of cloves
Mix together and pour into baked pie shell bake for 40-45 min
Chill for at least 2 hours

This crust was amazing --we taste tested it while we were making it.

Stewart ( Anna and Daniel's dog) ate this whole pie the night before Thanksgiving. We will try again but it smelled and taste tested great !!!!
