1 Stick Butter (melted)
6 eggs
4 cups flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon whiskey
1 teaspoon anise extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, sugar, flavoring, liquor and melted butter in a large bowl and beat. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt. Form in to balls about the size of a quarter. Dough will be sticky - (To roll easily in balls flour your hands as needed). Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until golden color.

Icing

Heat 1/3 cup of milk – add 1 ˝ to 2 cups confectioner’s sugar and a few drops of anise extract.

Ice the cookies and then add colored candy shots.

Place a cooling rack on a cookie sheet.

Place the cookies in the pan of icing about 6 to eight at a time. Allow the extra icing to drip in the pan. Place the cookies on the rack you have placed inside the cookie sheet then sprinkle the shots, repeat this until finished)

Depending on the thickness of the icing you may need to add more confectioner sugar to thicken or add more flavoring or milk to thin.
