1 stick butter or however much you think you need.

Bread broken up in small pieces if you want to add it.

For one stick of butter I would use about 2 to 3 cups of broken up bread.

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the butter on medium high heat and stir continually until it turns golden brown.

If you want to add bread pieces, put them in with butter and brown along with the butter.

Remember you must stir the entire time you are cooking the butter and use relatively high heat.
