Base-
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
Top-
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1//2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

1 cup walnuts
1 cup drained marashino cherries it in half

Icing-
8 tbsp butter
12 tbsp icing sugar
1tbsp canned milk
1tbsp boiling water
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first two ingredients as pie crust, spread and pat down into 8" square pan. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes.
Spread walnuts then cherries over base. Mix remaining ingredients do topping and spread over base and bake at 350 for 45 minutes

Beat butter, add ingredients slowly in order given and continue beating until you have used all the ingredients. Spread over cooled square
