Ingredients:  
1 1/2 to 2 cups fresh squash
1 large onion, chopped
1 small bell pepper, chopped, approximately 1/4 cup
2 o 3 strips bacon, cooked crisp, (save drippings)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon, sauté onions and bell peppers in drippings. Add cut up squash, salt and pepper. Add 1/2 cup water.
Cove and cook for 30 to 40 minutes on medium to low heat.
Stir often to keep from sticking to pot.
