Ingredients:  
• 2 lbs hash browns
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup n (or one cream of mushroom and one cream of chicken)
• 1 pint sour cream
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup onion , chopped (I use minced onion and soak in water in hydrate)
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 cups grated cheese
• 1 1/2 cups corn flakes (crushed) or use Corn Flake Crumbs in a box
• 4 tablespoons butter , melted

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix hash browns with hydrated onion, ½ cup butter, salt, sour cream and soups
2. Put potato mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan.
4. Combine cornflakes and 2 Tbsp. butter, and sprinkle evenly over top of casserole.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-50 minutes or until heated and bubbly.
6. Last few minutes sprinkle cheese over casserole and continue baking until cheese has melted.
