1 lb raw shelled shrimp
1 c raw crab
1/2 lb raw shucked oysters
2 c chopped onion
2 c chopped celery
2 c chopped green pepper
5 c chicken stock
3/4 c margarine
1 1/4 c tomato sauce
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano

Melt the margarine in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions, peppers, and celery. Turn the heat to high and add all the spices.
Cook about 5 min stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium, add tomato sauce and cook 5 min still stirring constantly. Add the chicken stock and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour stirring occasionally. Add the seafood, cover and simmer for 3 to 6 min until done. Serve gumbo over rice. Pass around the tabasco sauce.
