4 oz (1 c) swiss cheese shredded
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
1 c crab meat flaked
2 green onions sliced (with tops)
3 beaten eggs
1 c light cream (Shirley uses milk)
1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
dash of mace (Shirley uses nutmeg)
1/2 c sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange cheese evenly over pastry. Top with crab meat and sprinkle with green onions. Combine eggs, milk and spices. Pour evenly over crab and top with almonds. Bake in slow oven (325ºF) for 45 min or until set. Let stand 10 min.
