1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins
1 apple, sliced thin
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Blend together with fork: flour, sugar, shortening, milk and egg. Beat hard for 30 seconds. Fold in 1/2 cup raisins. Pour into pan. place thinly sliced apple on top, then sprinkle apple with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 9x9 greased pan at 375º
