1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp each of grated orange and lemon peel
2 TBSp lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
Directions:
Directions:
IN saucepan, beat 1 egg. Add ½ c sugar, 1 tsp each of grated orange and lemon peel, and 2 TBSP of lemon juice.
Cook and stir over low heat until thick, about 5 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
Fold in 1 c whipping cream, whipped. Chill. Makes 2 cups.
Serve over gingerbread.
