2 c. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Chinese five spice seasoning
1 box brown sugar
1/4 tsp. powered cloves
1-2 oz. bourbon whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, combine ingredients and warm - do not simmer or boil. Pour mixture over dried fruit/seeds, mix well, seal jar, let stand, and shake around or invert jar periodically to allow mixture to cover all fruit/seeds.

Note: Dried fruit can include prunes, apricots, cranberries, cherries, etc. Seeds can include lemon peel and li hing mui. Mason jars work well to store the prune mui. Refrigerate to lengthen shelf life. Increase the mixture ingredients to match the fruit/seed ingredients and number of jars you want to fill.
