4 c. white sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 T. pickling salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
2 onions sliced
1 green pepper sliced
16 c. sliced unpeeled cucumbers

Boil together all ingredients except vegetables. Cool. Put sliced vegetables in an ice cream pail. Pour cooled brine over and make sure veggies are covered in brine. Store in fridge.
