4½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 pound butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt & pepper; blend in cheese and butter until smooth. Roll out on floured surface to ½-inch thick. Cut with inside of doughnut cutter. Place about 1/8 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325' for about 15 minutes. Do not let the biscuits brown. Store in airtight container placing wax paper between layers.
