2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp. baking soda
3 cups grated carrots
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup walnuts
1 tsp. cloves or allspice
1 cup raisins
5 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Stir in eggs, oil and carrots. Boil raisins in water then drain. Mix in walnuts and raisins. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan ( you may also line with wax paper). Bake at 325ºF for 45-55 minutes.
