1 head lettuce
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c celery
1/2 c chopped green pepper
10 oz frozen peas, thawed
1 c grated Colby cheese or more
8 slices bacon, fried crisp & crumbled

Dressing #1
2 c salad dressing
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp milk

Dressing #2
1 1/2 c mayonnaise
1 c sour cream
2 Tbsp sugar

In a 13 x 9 glass dish, layer half of lettuce, onion, celery, green pepper, then repeat layers Top with your choice of dressing, followed by grated cheese, then bacon.

You can add more of any of the layers to suit your taste. I prefer "dressing # 1" but use which ever one you prefer. It is best if made the night before you want to serve it.
