2.25 lbs stew meat cut into bite size pieces
2 14 oz cans of diced tomatoes (do not drain!)
2 4oz can chopped green chiles (do not drain)
1 med onion chopped
1 large green pepper chopped
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup chili powder (more or less to taste)
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp fine black pepper
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp cumin
2 14 oz can beans (small red or pinto)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat to remove the fat, put in crock pot. Do a quick saute of the onion and pepper and throw it in. Add everything except beans. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. At 3 hours before done, add in the beans. Stir every couple hours.

You can also add an 8 oz can tomato sauce to make it a little thicker.
