1/2 c. salt
2 t. cream of tartar (do not omit)


1 c. water
1 T cooking oil
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in heavy saucepan:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 t. cream of tartar (do not omit)

Add:
1 c. water
1 T cooking oil
food coloring

Stir until mixed. Cook at low temperature for three minutes or until mixture pulls away from sides of pan. Knead slightly. Store in an airtight container.
(a few drops of oil of wintergreen may be added to give a pleasant aroma)
