4 cans (14.5 oz. a piece) French style green beans,drained
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c white vinegar
1/2 lb bacon, fried and crumbled
1 medium onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the beans; stir in the cooked bacon and onion. Meanwhile; dissolve the sugar with the vinegar. Place the bean mixture in a glass 13 x 9 inch dish. Pour the sugar and vinegar mixture over the beans. Refrigerate overnight. Bake in a 350º oven until warm throughout.

. This dish may need more juice after marinating in the refrigerator. Add more vinegar and sugar to your liking. This dish is a Swinehart family favorite
