3 C. flour
1 C. shortening
1 tsp. salt
3/4 C. cold water
2 lbs. round steak, lean and uncooked cut into small cubes
3 potatoes, cut into 1/2" cubes
1 C. carrots, grated
2 C. onions, diced
2 C. rutabaga, diced
salt/pepper
1 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, shortening and salt, with a fork, until mixture crumbles. Add water and work until the dough can be handled and is not sticky. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate while preparing the meat filling. FILLING: in a large bowl, combine round stake, potatoes, carrot, onions and rutabaga in a bowl. Add s/p, and butter; blend well. Divide the dough into 10 parts; roll out each to a 9" round. On half of each round, divide the filling. Fold over the other half and crimp. Slash top 4 times and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, until
lightly browned. Serve with ketchup or gravy.
