Ingredients:  
Green & red leaf lettuce
Green onions - chopped fine
Boiled eggs - sliced
Bacon - fried, drained and crumbled

Tear lettuce, chop onions, place sliced eggs on top of lettuce and sprinkle crumbled
bacon on top.

Dressing:

Fry bacon, remove from grease. Pour grease in measuring cup ( and if not enough grease) add oil to
make 1/2 cup.
Stir 2 tsp. cornstarch with 2 tsp. water - stir til blended and add to bacon mixture - set aside
Combine 1/2 C vinegar, 1/2 C water, 1/4 C sugar, salt & pepper to taste in small saucepan. Heat to a boil, then add bacon
mixture.....cook 1 to 2 mins. til a little thick.

Remove from heat and add to salad mixture. Add just a little at a time then toss, add, toss until
bathed in dressing.

Enjoy.

This is an awesome salad, and the dressing recipe is from Houston's restaurant in Nashville.
Just be sure to eat it all...not a left over kind of salad.
